Welcome to Fly, the CS cluster

Fly is housed in ASH130, and whatever specs I put up here will quickly be superceded, so I’ll just leave the cluster monitoring link below to speak for itself, since it automatically updates.
Originally grant-funded, fly is now largely funded by the School of CS and occasional grant money here and there, so it’s very duct tape and baling twine (I promise that neither of these materials is actually contained in any of the cluster nodes), and is mostly built out of older server hardware found on eBay or handbuilt nodes made from consumer-grade whitebox hardware. That said, I think it is a rather capable cluster, considering. It is maintained by Wm. Josiah Erikson.
